It’s official: our 9U team is currently scheduled for its first tournament on October 24–25 — the Perfect Game Halloween Havoc in Rincon, Georgia.

This is the first time this group will take the field together as Sealanders in real competition. Everything up to now has been practice, reps, and getting to know each other. In October they get to find out what they’re made of.

What This Weekend Means

A first tournament isn’t about a trophy. It’s the moment a group of kids stops being a roster and starts being a team — figuring out how to back each other up, how to handle a bad inning, how to celebrate somebody else’s good one.

That’s the whole reason this club exists. The scoreboard will say whatever it says. What we care about is who these kids are by Sunday afternoon.

This is a Perfect Game signature event running eight divisions from 7U through 14U, so there will be plenty of baseball to watch all weekend.

Brackets, game times, and field assignments come out closer to the date. We’ll get them to families directly as soon as we have them.

The Lowcountry Sealanders are a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and we don’t charge our families set monthly fees. Sponsorships and donations are what keep our families’ costs down — so that a kid’s ability to play never comes down to what a family can afford that month.
