What We Collect

When you submit the interest / waitlist form, we collect:

• Your name
• Your email address
• General information about your player that you choose to share
• Position preferences

When you submit the registration form, we additionally collect:

• Phone number
• Home address (optional)
• Second parent or guardian contact information (optional)
• Player date of birth, jersey preferences, and experience
• Sibling names and ages (optional)
• Emergency contact name, relationship, and phone number
• Medical conditions, allergies, or medications relevant to coaching staff (optional, confidential)

We do not collect payment information or precise location through our forms. Our website does use analytics cookies, described below.

Analytics & Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website — for example, which pages are viewed and how visitors found us. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects usage data such as pages visited, approximate (city-level) location, and device and browser information. We use this data only in aggregate to improve the website; it is not used to identify you personally.

You can learn how Google uses this data in Google's Privacy Policy, and opt out entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

How We Use It

We use your information solely to contact you about roster opportunities and club updates for the Lowcountry Sealanders Baseball Organization, and to operate the team safely. Medical information is shared only with coaching staff. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with any third party for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Processing

Form submissions are stored in monday.com, a work management platform. Your data is transmitted to and stored on monday.com's servers subject to their privacy policy.

Donations and newsletter signups are processed by Zeffy, a fundraising platform for nonprofits. If you donate, your payment details are collected and processed by Zeffy and its payment processors subject to their privacy policy — we never see or store your card information.

Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that submissions come from real people and may process technical information such as your IP address for that purpose.

Data Retention

We retain form submissions for the duration of our active recruiting period. You may request deletion of your information at any time.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.
